  My initial impression of printed magazines was that I really liked them, but I didn’t think they were very complicated. The impact of the cover image and f eature article entirely depended on the target audience of that magazine.  In magazines targeted towards women it’s all about commands, the classic “stay at home moms”, the  middle-aged white women, high fashion, and beautiful  celebrities .    In the “The Orpah Magazine” it targets women. The title of this magazine is, “The Joy on the Mourning” it’s  positive , happy, it’s spiritual ,  which brought  along a new audience. It has a cultivating loyalty to it because  the same type of people  purchased  Orpah's  magazine  because it singles the middle-aged white women out and  targets  them.   My initial impressions of the impact of the opening sequences of films  were that they weren’t important. After watching a series of opening scenes from different films, I saw that the openings give you a full view into  what the movie could be.  As referenced in the article called “First Frames: Titles in the Digital Realm”, it states, “ The typography and visual style created in the opening sequence can establish the mood and image system” so,   t he role of these scenes  plays  in developing interests of audiences by giving a sense of  what the movie will feel like. For example, in  the  opening s equence or “SCREAM”,  there  was  text  that is  bold and flashing red   and a little bit of  eerie  music  with screaming sounds in the background .
