Preliminary Layout

This is my preliminary layout for my magazine project. My title is "Family Travel", but there are a couple different titles I've been going back and forth with: "Best Family Travel Destinations", "Family Travel Destinations", "The Family Travel Magazine"... And I might want to change my selling line because it's not very interesting or capturing.  Magazine   Masthead:  Family Travel    Main Image: The main image will be a picture of Paris, with bright colors to give it a colorful happy feel. It will focus on the overall image of Paris and have our title at the top of the magazine with subheadings on the edges.   Selling line:  Places   to go that your family will love!   Typography/Font: The font of the title will be bold, and the font of the subheadings will be a color that matches the main image but smaller and more delicate.   Feature Article Title/Content/images/s: The feature of the article will be about Paris and things to do there...

Peer Pitch and Concept Refinement Chart

  My pitch was  successful because  the calls liked it and my  teacher , however the girl that pitched before us had the same  concept  as us.  So,   our teacher helped us make sure they were different enough.   I thought the feedba c k from my pitch was helpful because our concept was very similar to our other classmate. Some  feedback  was to  be ca r e fu l and  talk to our classmate to make sure the magazines aren’t similar.
